Can liquid turn into solid?EX

Materials: soda/root beer
styrofoam cup
freezer

I poured liquid into strofoam cup and placed in freezer overnight.
7 PM

At 7 AM the next morning, I pull out the cup out of the freezer and find my liquid, now a solid!
