Life in the Deep
Strange creatures discovered miles under the sea
There's very little oxygen or food, and no light whatsoever, but life still thrives deep beneath the surface of the sea. Scientists are just now discovering some of the strange creatures that have adapted to life in the deep. Recently, Scholastic Kid Reporter Abi Robinson visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) in Monterey, California, to learn about these new discoveries.
